Harness Eir's healing energy by making your own Elder Berry Syrup! Our 'Eir' Elder Berry Syrup mix harnesses herbal synergy between berries and mushrooms, to enhance their efficacy in supporting a healthy immune system. Then paired with the popular & effective Echinacea to really make this blend supportive during 'sniffle season'
BREW INSTRUCTIONS:
YOU WILL NEED: ~One 2oz jar or pouch of 'Eir' Elder Berry Syrup Mix ~1.75cups cold water ~.5 - .75 cup raw local honey (you can use maple syrup or agave) the more sweetener the longer the shelf life in fridge
Brew Instructions: (Video instructions included in product photos up top)
1. Combine ‘Eir Elder Berry Syrup Mix’ contents and
1.75 cups water in saucepan. Bring to boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer covered 35-40 mins
(this step should reduce liquid by half).
3. Remove from heat & steep covered 1 hour.
4. Strain & squeeze out liquid.
5. Combine liquid w/ .5-.75 cup raw local honey.
(you can sub agave or maple syrup.)
6. Place in airtight container. Keep refrigerated, 2-3 months.
CREATIVE WAYS TO USE:
~Drink 1-2 tsp as desired. ~Add to sparkling
water. ~Use as a mocktail base. ~Drizzle on pancakes. ~ Add to fire cider
TIPS: -You want at least one third of your final product to be honey (or maple syrup or agave) to keep your syrup from spoiling. It must be kept refrigerated.
-If you want a shelf stable syrup with a longer shelf life, and does not need refrigeration, you can add Vodka or Brandy, just make sure the alcohol is making up 25% of the final volume. This method is NOT recommended for people with alcohol sensitivities or persons in addiction recovery.
USES: -Take 1-2 tsp per day for extra support during winter months -Add 1-2tsp to a mocktail recipe, sparkling water or tea -Use as a pancake or dessert drizzle/topping -Make into gummies
